About us

We are a small but faithful congregation who meet and worship God in Combe Martin on the beautiful north coast of Devon, England.

We hold weekly Sunday morning services in our chapel, a monthly coffee and fellowship meeting and seasonal study courses.  Please see our 'Services' page for more details.

We are members of the Ilfracombe and Barnstaple Circuit of the Methodist Church which, in turn, is part of the Plymouth and Exeter Methodist District.  We are also members of Christians Together in Combe Martin and Berrynarbor, an interdenominational group of local churches encompassing Anglican, Baptist, Methodist and Roman Catholic Christians from both villages.

The first Methodist chapel was built in Combe Martin in 1830 and the building can still be seen today, across the road from our present chapel, although it is now a private dwelling.  The current chapel building, with a school room to the rear, was opened in 1883 and continues to offer a place of worship and fellowship over 130 years later.
